Stefan Pflug: Bed, lofting, grading and... more icing!

I am dead tired today, but since this was a good day and maybe my last full day with the team, I wanted to share it with you guys.

Stefan Pflug: Day 8

Today I don't really know where to start with the blog. To follow a chronological order, I should be telling you guys about day 8. Obviously, time doesn't stop flying by, so we are actually on day 17. So much has happened since day 8, but let's call that 'water under the bridge'.

Stefan Pflug: Day 7: A really bad day

Two a days are on the way, so right now my schedule looks like this:
7.00: Breakfast.
I have a really hard time eating in the morning, but it is really hard to practice for 3 hours on an empty stomach, so I force feed myself yoghurt and soy chocolate milk.

Stefan Pflug: Day 6: Community

We had to get up way early on the 6th day of camp. We were gathering the community around the team for a punt, kick and pass competition. It is a chance for the neighborhood to show up and rally around the team.

Stefan Pflug: Day 5: Both feet on the ground

I started day 5 by declining to clean (225 lbs) and squat (330 lbs) and headed directly to the Athletic training room for an ice bath. 15 minutes later I put on my collegiate appparel and went out into the sun and Memorial Field, our stadium.

Stefan Pflug: Day 4

This morning we had to complete some of the physical test. First the team we benching max lbs and max reps with 225. Due to a dislocated shoulder last year, I am unable to bench those numbers so I simply declined to do so.

Stefan Pflug: Day 3: Ups & Downs

Finally I get to join the team at practice. I went to see a doctor to get a new physical. This time it was accepted by the medical staff.

Stefan Pflug: Day 2: American bureaucracy

I won't spend too much time telling you about the first day of actual practice. I was sidelined by the medical staff because my medical exam from Denmark was insufficient for Collegial sports.
